Hey pretties, so this is what I have been using lately to achieve that dewy glow with makeup.
I know some people prefer to keep their makeup more matte around summer but I’m all about that glow life 😍
Lately I have been obsessed with highlighters and foundations that provide that dewy glow. And the MAC Studio Sculpt foundation is one of them, I love evrything about it, from the texture to the finish it gives.
It provides a medium to full coverage and sets to a nice dewy-satin finish.
This foundation will be perfect for those with dry skin as well, as it is gel based and quite moisturising to the skin.
The MAC Studio Finish concealer is great for covering under eye circles and any blemishes or marks. A little goes a long way. Very creamy and long lasting.
And the best for last, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle has got to be my favourite highlighter ever ♡ worth every cent!
Its a champagne shimmer that looks amazing on all skin tones. It just gives the most amazing looking highlight and can be used wet for a more intense look…and for me it doubles up as a great eyeshadow too. Just add some fix plus to this and OMG!!! You’re left with amazingly gorgeous looking skin. Like you’ve actually been getting your 8hrs and 8glasses a day kinda glow. I can’t rave enough about fix plus and its uses (check out our previoua post my sis did on it: Battle of the Setting Sprays). I simply can’t do without it.

I’ll start off by 1st mentioning that my makeup look was all concentrated on my eyes.
The rest was pretty minimal and kept as natural as possible.
I started off by applying a gold shadow all over my eye lids, and then highlighting the inner corners with a champagne coloured shadow.
Next I used a turquoise in the outer corner up until the crease. And in my crease I used a brown and blended out well.
For eyeliner I used a teal coloured 1 in my waterline and a black liquid liner on my lid and created a wing.
Lastly i just finished off with some mascara.
On the rest of my face, after foundation, I applied a light coat of blush in a pinky colour and on my lips I just used a very natural looking lipstick which was almost the same colour as my lips and then some gloss.
Here is the finished look
Next up Mariam
This eid I opted for a natural yet glam look with dewy skin and a dramtic eye..
Here’s what I used:
For my skin I 1st mixed a liquid luminizer with my moisturiser and then applied foundation. I set my foundation with an illuminizing powder and then contoured my cheeks using a deep tan shade under my cheek bones and on the sides of my nose I then applied a rose colored blush and Mac soft and gentle as a highlighter to my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose.
On my eyes I used a black eyeshadow do draw a line to define my crease and then blended it out with a medium brown shadow. I applied a golden bronze color on my entire lid.
I used a black gel eyeliner to to line upper and lower lash lines as well as inside my water line. And then finished off with mascara and false lashes.

Hey guys. Yipeee its the weekend already 😀
So heres what I used to apply my makeup today…This is basically my everyday makeup routine 🙂
After cleansing using Cetaphil oily skin cleanser and moisturising with Cetaphil Daily ultra hydrating moisturiser…I primed my skin with a spritz of MAC fix plus. It’s perfect for these hot days when you dont want product overload on your skin, especially if you have oily skin like mine. Before the fix plus dries I applied my Kryolan Supracolor foundation in the shade FS38 using a Barbara Hoffman flat top foundation brush to buff it in. This is a lethal combo. It gives me an absolute flawless finish. On my cheek bones, I applied Kryolan blush in the shade G/Pink. It has a gold shimmer to it which gives my skin a radiant glow. I then finish off with another spritz of Fix+ to set my makeup. It also gives it a dewy finish.
On my eyes I used: Avon Mega impact eyeshadow duo in nude attitude. I apply the lighter shade all over my eyelid right up to the brow bone. And then the darker shade on my outer corner blending slightly into the crease. On my top lid I used Revlon colorstay liquid eyeliner in black and for lashes, Essence I Love Extreme Volume mascara. In my lower water line I used kryolan eye pencil liner in 999 (Black)
On my lips I used Essence XXXL shine lipgloss in Dazzle glow.

Have a super weekend.
I thought it would be fun to do a post like this. Just sharing with you guys my makeup look of the day and products used to create the look.
This is just a natural looking, chic, every day look which you can wear to work or on a day out.
It’s very simple and easy to do, yet looks very pretty.
After cleansing, toning and moisturising.
I used this Vitamin C Skin Boost from The Body Shop as a primer, and it gives my skin such a gorgeous glow!
Next I applied the Garnier Pure Active BB Cream using the Real Techniques Buffing brush, I also sprayed some Mac Fix + on the brush.
Next, I used the Avon Magix Multi-Benefit Illuminator under my eye area as well as on my nose, just to brighten it up abit, using the same buffing brush.
On to eyes…
I used some of the same magix concealer to sort of prime my eye lids and then just dusted some pressed powder over that.
I actually used the Avon Glow Bronzing Duo on my eyes (which is for highlighting and contouring the face)
I started by using the lighter shade on my entire eye, up to my brow bone and into the inner corner as well.
Then I used a cream concealer in the shade dark on the outer corner and then darker, brown shade of the bronzing duo in my crease, focusing in the outer corner of my eyes.
Next I used the Yardley Eyeshadow Link in the shade Bronze Baby in the outer corner.
To pull the look together I used the Avon Mega Effects Liquid Eyeliner to line my upper lash line and created a small wing. And also lined my lower waterline with an Avon Glimmerstick in Teal Waters.
And lastly I used the Avon Mega Effects mascara.
For my lips I used a Clinique Lipstick in Bamboo Pink and a NYX Buttergloss in Eclair.
The brushes I used on my eyes are the Essence Eyeshadow brush and Smokey-Eye brush.
And the Real Techniques Contour brush just to blend everything together.
Let us know if you enjoyed this post and would like us to do more of these in the future 🙂
Have a blessed Friday y’all!
